OUTDOOR SIGNS INSTALLATION GUIDE

Can I use my sign outdoors?
Yes — but only if your sign was purchased as an outdoor model.
Not all LED neon signs are built for exterior use. Our Outdoor-Rated signs are specifically manufactured with IP67 waterproofing, which means the sign itself is designed to handle rain, moisture, and outdoor environments.
Indoor signs should never be used outdoors. They are not waterproof, not sealed against moisture, and exposing them to rain, humidity, sprinklers, condensation, snow, or outdoor temperature fluctuations will almost guarantee damage. In all cases, using an indoor sign outside will void any warranty because it’s being used outside its intended design.

Installing Outdoor Signs:
For best results, install your outdoor sign in a spot with overhead cover, such as under an awning or roof. This helps reduce long-term wear from harsh sun and heavy rain.
If your sign includes a dimmer and remote receiver, keep those components stored safely indoors or in a dry, protected area. Moisture exposure can damage the electronics.
The power supply is IP67 rated, meaning it’s built for outdoor conditions, but it’s still smarter to mount it indoors whenever possible to extend its lifespan.
If indoor placement isn’t an option, you can house the power supply and dimmer in a weatherproof IP67-rated outdoor junction box. Choose a box with a clear front panel so the remote signal can still reach the dimmer without having to open it.
You can find these junction boxes at most hardware stores.
Follow these setup tips to protect your sign and keep it running reliably for years.
